Just about any of us want our parents to care about how they look. But what if your mom was so obsessed about physical appearances - both her own and yours -- that it took importance over anything else? On this episode of True Life, you'll meet two teenage girls being raised by mothers whose priorities often appear to run only skin-deep. Tori's mom, Lacey, has a big personality and a bust-line to match. Wherever she goes, Lacey usually becomes the center of attention - just the way she likes it. However, Tori is getting increasingly fed up with her mom's over-the-top routine and is desperate for Lacey to tone things down. Will mom's increasing flamboyance strain their once-close relationship beyond the point of repair? Victoria isn't much for make-up or fancy clothes and her tomboyish ways are confounding Gina, her newly-single and-ready-to-mingle mother. Gina would love nothing more than to see her daughter return to the beauty pageant circuit where she once competed and refuses to take "no" for an answer. Will Victoria give in to this parental pressure and make a reluctant return to the runway?
