2012-05-01 | Elizabeth Black Here’s an idea. The women of Basketball Wives are all serious entrepreneurs, and they also can’t seem to get their co-stars’ names out of their mouths, so why don’t they all go in on Basketball Wives brand lozenges? That’s a freebie, ladies. Evelyn, Tami, and Niaare all still angry at Jennifer because she filed a police report after the slap, but Jennifer is also giving interviews about the situation which continues to piss Evelyn and Nia off. “She’s dead to me,” Nia says, and Tami tells her “I feel you on that.” Which sort of sounds like Tami is agreeing that Jen is dead to her also, doesn’t it? But in the next confessional, Tami actually says that this isn’t her battle to wage, so her feelings for Jennifer haven’t changed at all. Still buds! Here’s the thing though, these ladies all still have a vacation to go on together. Not only is this resort they all plan to visit going to have to find separate quarters for Jen and Ev, they’re also going to have to k...

2012-04-24 | Elizabeth Black At least Tami got a souvenir from the big fight? “This is a hot-ass f—ing mess,” Tami says as theJennifer-Evelyn-Niafight plays out. After Nia slapped Jennifer and Evelyn leaped over the table, they both had to be restrained, but the fight didn’t end there. The women continued to scream at each other, but it got worse when Jennifer told Nia “I guess I can’t sue you ’cause you ain’t got nothing,” and that’s when Evelyn grabbed a centerpiece and trying as hard as she could to decapitate Jen with it. “I don’t see anything else other than Jennifer being my target and me trying to rip her f—ing head off,” Ev says. Jennifer walks out withKesha, still stunned, and virtually silent. Evelyn, Nia, and the rest of the group are more emotional. For Evelyn, none of this has to do with house keys or even a blog post, it’s about who Jennifer appears to have become, a person that thinks she’s better than everyone else, and it brings her to tears. “How is that okay? You’re ...

It continues with Jennifer being attacked by evelynn and lozada's assistant Nia. Evelynn comes after jennifer like a raging bull with hatred. Thank goodness for jennifer Evelynn was restrained by the production. Evelynn is so compassionate and sincere, she wins me over every time. Its sad gotye was perfect to play, I definitely connected with it. And if my boyfriend wasn't a musician who can play the song really good, or cover the song really good, I woulda bought the album they promoted (right after the dramatic scene before the commercial). Suzie Que, Jenn, Kenya, and Kesha vs Tami, Evelyn, Royce, and Shaunie. Jenn spills out her and Evelyn's 12 years of friendship down the drain/break-up,over a nice dinner, comforted and ass kissing by Kenya. Keisha likes to do yoga with royce and dishes her the drama scene at the horse track. I'm I'm sure Royce doesn't feel that missed out on anything by attending horsetrack brunch and callie things and I went psycho. Evely...

VH1 Blog: Basketball Wives – Episode 9 – Let The Mind Games Begin Basketball Wives – Episode 9 – Let The Mind Games Begin 2012-04-17 | Elizabeth Black Mind games and b-tch slaps. That’s what this episode was all about. The conversation between Tami and her mother, Nadine, continues this week, and it’s chock full of revelations. Tami and Nadine never outwardly showed much affection toward each other, and Tami admitted last week that a lot of her anger comes from having been raped, so she’s never really figured out how to process emotions or show affection. Tami also revealed that she’s been going to therapy to work on all of this, but her mother tells her she too was molested and has also been going through therapy as well. This is some heavy duty stuff to deal with, but in a way, it explains everything about Tami, her past, and her reactions to the situations she’s in. Finally we meet Royce ‘s boyfriend, Dezmon Briscoe, who plays football for Tampa Bay. Though we’ve seen Royc...
